What The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power about?

The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power Based on the novels by J.R.R. Tolkien, it will be directed by Wayne Yip, J.A. Bayona, and Charlotte Brandstrom, with showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay. The series’ announced cast includes Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Morfydd Clark, Peter Mullan, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Robert Aramayo, Tristan Gravelle, Benjamin Walker, Charles Edwards, Augustus Prue, Lenny Henry, Maxim Baldry, Tusita Jayasander and more. The series will focus on the era of Middle-earth, which has not previously been explored in modern adaptations leading up to the events. Lord of the rings, Brotherhood of the ring and not only.

The final trailer focuses on Galadriel, played by Morifdd Clark, as well as several factions of Middle-earth, including elves, dwarves, humans, and hobbits. We will also get to know some of the monsters in Middle-earth. According to the Amazon show synopsis, the story will take viewers from the Misty Mountains to the Isle of Numenor and beyond, exploring places old and new for movie fans.

The series will begin airing weekly from September 1st. The first two episodes will air at 9:00 pm EST on September 1, 2022.
