Paramount+ and Disney+ have given their subscribers plenty of new shows and seasons this week and weekend. Several long-awaited series premieres this week, including Andor. Many long-running shows are back with new seasons, including maritime police as well as FBI franchises. Viewers will have plenty of opportunities to watch brand new content this weekend.

New seasons of NCIS premiere on Paramount+ on September 19th.

maritime police the franchise returned this fall with new episodes of the original series and its spin-off series, NCIS: Hawaii. maritime police Season 20 continues the iconic investigation team storyline without series protagonist Mark Harmon. Hawaii is a new part of the franchise, the premiere of the second season of which will take place this week. In the series, Vanessa Lachey plays the main character, who leads her team to investigate crimes related to military and national security. Fans of the franchise will be looking forward to new episodes over the next few weeks.

The Neighborhood returns to Paramount+ on September 19

Area returns with the fifth season of the sitcom television series. The series follows a white Midwestern family as they adjust to the culture of a predominantly black neighborhood in Pasadena, California. It stars Cedric the Entertainer as Calvin Butler and Max Greenfield as Dave Johnson. Dave acts as the overly friendly neighbor who doesn’t take hints while Calvin keeps putting up walls to keep him out. The show’s biggest strength is its cast, which offers a humorous representation of their conflicting dynamics.

New seasons of The FBI premiere on Paramount+ on September 20.

FBI every show will have a new season premiere on Paramount+, including FBI season 5 FBI: International season 2 and FBI: Most Wanted Season 4. The original series began in 2018 and was quickly expanded with two additional episodes. FBI focuses primarily on the inner workings of the agency’s New York office, while Most Wanted showing the Fugitive Task Force. survivor has a terrific success on television as it enters its 43rd season. survivor started in 2000 and has since released two seasons a year. Season 43 is an abbreviated season that only lasted 26 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A large group of participants spend weeks together in the wilderness, providing themselves with food, fire and shelter, voting each other to remove themselves from the island until only one remains. Sole Survivor wins $1,000,000.

Amazing Race returns with a new season, showcasing a new roster of 11 teams that travel the world to win a $1,000,000 cash prize at the end of their journey. The challenges that each team of two must overcome along the way provide opportunities for physical and mental growth. Andor serves as a prequel to the series star Wars spin-off film Rogue One (2016). The series follows the titular Cassian Andor, recounting his life before his sacrificial fate. The series premieres across the first three episodes of the season, with each new episode premiering on Wednesdays on Disney+. Episode 12 will be the series finale on November 23rd. Season 2 is already in development and will be the conclusion of the series, which leads into the events in Rogue One. This series will serve as additional content for those who wanted to see more of the main characters in the film before their final demise.

The new documentary series Nat Geo Super/Natural debuts on Disney+ on September 21st.

Benedict Cumberbatch acts as the narrator, adding drama to the spectacle. Many animals around the world have arcane abilities and super senses that are useless to their survival and peace.

Cinderella Reunion hits Disney+ on September 21st.

25th anniversary celebration CinderellaDisney+ Adds Special Edition 20/20 which focuses on the film and includes interviews with the cast and fans. Behind-the-scenes content includes clips featuring Brandi, Whoopi Goldberg, Paolo Montalban, Victor Garber, Bernadette Peters, Jason Alexander, Wayne Cox and Whitney Houston. Brandi was the first black Disney princess to appear on screen and has served as a necessary introduction to many young girls around the world. Fans of the film can tune in and watch clips of exclusive behind-the-scenes content, re-living the original magic.

The Call of the Wild releases on Disney+ on September 23rd.

Call of nature (2020) – adventure film based on the novel of the same name. Harrison Ford plays the dog’s only friend after being kidnapped from his California home. In the wild country of Yukon, Buck (a dog) learns to work as a team with a tourist (Ford) in a new phase of his life. The two grow up together and save each other’s lives. Half of the movie is animated, adding a layer of avatar to Baku that is sure to entertain the whole family.
